At Platte River Farm & Flowers, growing plants has always been a family tradition. For years, we planted our own seeds, tended large family gardens, and harvested vegetables for canning. Gardening wasn't just a hobby… it was a our way of life.

About 15 years ago, we began growing tomato and pepper plants for family and friends who wanted the same strong, healthy plants we were growing for ourselves. As word spread, more and more customers discovered the quality of our plants and started coming back year after year.

What started as a small operation with homemade greenhouses gradually grew into something much bigger. As demand increased, we expanded our growing space and, about six years ago, had the opportunity to purchase a 48' x 84' commercial greenhouse. This allowed us to offer a larger selection of vegetables and begin growing flowers as well.

In 2022, we officially established Platte River Farm & Flowers LLC. Today, we continue to grow with the same dedication to quality and care that has been at the heart of our family gardening tradition from the very beginning. We take pride in providing healthy, locally grown plants and helping our customers create beautiful, productive gardens of their own.
